At The New Wolds Chippy, we’re passionate about serving great fish and chips the way they should be – fresh, generous, and full of flavour.

Our story began long before we arrived in West Bridgford. Our family has proudly owned and operated successful fish and chip shops in Skegness for many years, building a reputation for quality, consistency and traditional seaside fish and chips. It’s that experience and passion that inspired us to bring the very best of the Lincolnshire coast to Nottingham.

In 2023, we took over the former Wolds Fish Bar. Like any new owners, we wanted to respect what was already here, so we spent our first two years’ operating with many of the existing products and systems while getting to know our customers and the local community.

Now it’s time for the next chapter.

We’re entering an exciting new phase of transformation as we gradually introduce the recipes, products and standards that have made our family businesses so successful. Our goal is simple: to create a fish and chip shop that delivers genuine seaside quality right here in West Bridgford.

Over the coming months you’ll see exciting changes across our menu, ingredients, cooking methods, and customer experience. From beautifully flaky fish and perfectly cooked chips to new menu additions and an improved online ordering experience, we’re investing in every part of the business to make The New Wolds Chippy a destination for exceptional fish and chips.
